9:30 a.m.: Services begin. Please note that donors to our Life & Legacy program are invited to be called up for an aliyah (Torah blessings) at this service. We will also celebrate our newly installed solar panels on this, the world’s birthday.
10:30 a.m.: Hakafah Torah parade for all children under the age of B’nei Mitzvah.
11 a.m.: Children’s program. Children are welcome to join Karen Levy in our school wing for a program and small snack. (A family member should stay with any children not potty trained. There is a changing table in the restroom at the end of the hall in our school wing.) We also welcome families to take children downstairs any time they feel antsy.
Noon: Morning service ends, followed by a light Kiddush.
1 p.m.: Tashlich (symbolic casting away of sins).takes place in person at Riverfront Park, Troy. Please bring bread crumbs, birdseed or other items as “symbolic sins” to cast away. If driving, the entrance to Riverfront Park is a right turn from River Street, just past the Dinosaur BBQ and before the bus shelter. If you pass the bus shelter and turn onto River Street instead, there are stairs down to Riverfront Park in the first block, before the Arts Center of the Capital Region.
